
Russia is preparing to issue a response to several statements made by the Armenian leadership that have negatively impacted bilateral relations.
Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, revealed that Moscow has noted several statements that do not align with reality and have the potential to harm relations. A detailed response from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is expected in the near future.
“I can say that, of course, Moscow drew attention to a whole series of statements made by the Prime Minister of Armenia [Nikol Pashinyan], and official representatives of Yerevan, that do not correspond to reality and go against the development of bilateral relations. A detailed answer to this will be given in the near future, literally in a matter of minutes a corresponding statement from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be published,” she said.
