
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, held discussions with Ruslan Edelgeriyev, Advisor to the President of Russia and Special Presidential Representative on Climate Issues, regarding the situation in the region following the operation in Karabakh and matters related to humanitarian assistance. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's press service reported on the meeting.
The meeting addressed current cooperation between the two nations, including potential partnerships in environmental matters. They also discussed the regional situation following “anti-terrorism measures” carried out by Azerbaijan and the provision of humanitarian aid.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister provided updates to his Russian counterpart on the disarmament of “illegal Armenian groups,” Baku's urgent actions to address the needs of the Armenian population, and ongoing negotiations regarding their “reintegration.”
Minister Bayramov reiterated Azerbaijan's commitment to dialogues aimed at the reintegration of Armenian residents in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. He emphasized that comprehensive measures to meet their needs would continue.
