A total of 27,396 of our fellow citizens who were forcibly displaced from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and entered the Republic of Armenia have been provided with free accommodation by the government. This information was shared during a briefing by Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the spokesperson for the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

The distribution of accommodation has been organized across various marzes (regions) to ensure that displaced individuals have access to suitable housing. Here is a breakdown of the number of people provided accommodation in different marzes:

  • Aragatsotn Marz: 1,617 individuals
  • Ararat Marz: 6,139 individuals
  • Armavir Marz: 2,749 individuals
  • Gegharkunik Marz: 2,398 individuals
  • Lori: 1,404 individuals
  • Kotayk: 7,078 individuals
  • Shirak: 1,067 individuals
  • Syunik: 2,094 individuals
  • Vayots Dzor: 1,613 individuals
  • Tavush: 1,237 individuals

This comprehensive effort aims to provide temporary housing solutions for displaced individuals in various communities and regions, ensuring their well-being during these challenging times.
