Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masatsugu Asakawa, the PM's office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The premier lauded the close cooperation formed between the Armenian government and the ADB, and emphasized that this collaboration contributes to the development of infrastructure in Armenia. Pashinyan added that the Armenian government is interested in the implementation of new projects, and stressed that the development of infrastructure is of primary importance for the government.
In turn Asakawa, assessed the ADB’s cooperation with Armenia effectively, and noted that the ADB is ready to expand joint programs with the country. In this context, they discussed the current projects and the possibilities of implementing new projects in the framework of the seismic safety improvement program in school construction, road construction, healthcare infrastructure development, and some other domains.
