At the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Armenia is participating in the Strasbourg Christmas Market for the first time.

Around 400 types of handicrafts of more than 60 Armenian craftsmen are presented at this world-renowned fair.

Christmas and New Year symbols created with Armenian motifs will decorate the Armenian pavilion located on Saint Thomas Square in Strasbourg, France, from November 24 to December 24.

Visitors to the Armenian pavilion are offered the best examples of vibrant Armenian heritage, including carpet weaving, embroidery, tapestry, and woodwork.

Representation at this major pan-European platform will contribute to the international popularization of the Armenian cultural heritage, as well as to the acquisition and expansion of intercultural dialogue.

Armenia's first participation in the Strasbourg Christmas Market was marked by the opening ceremony of its pavilion, which will be attended by high-ranking officials of France and Armenia.
