Thursday’s court hearing in the "criminal case" of Armenian man Gagik Voskanyan, who is in Azerbaijani captivity, was adjourned because he was not brought to court, Azerbaijani media report.
But the reasons for not bringing Voskanyan to court were not reported.
There is also no information about his health condition.
Today’s aforesaid court session was announced yesterday.
This court hearing was rescheduled to December 4.
Gagik Voskanyan is accused of preparing to carry out terrorist and sabotage acts, according to Azerbaijani media.
On August 16, Voskanyan, who is a reservist and was participating in a training camp of the Armenian army, had left his combat position.
Later, the Azerbaijani side announced that they had captured him.
On August 18, the Azerbaijani court illegally detained Voskanyan.
Subsequently, Azerbaijan, in its traditional style, concocted a criminal case against him, as well as other Armenian captives, under several articles of the Azerbaijani criminal code.
