Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Euronews that the country's authorities intend to resettle about 140,000 people in Nagorno-Karabakh, including Armenian refugees who left their homeland in the fall.

According to him, the goal is planned to be reached by 2026.

At the same time, he said, Armenians who want to return must obtain Azerbaijani citizenship.

Before that, Aliyev said, "it is necessary to invest in infrastructure and housing facilities in Nagorno-Karabakh," Kommersant reports.
