Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis plans to visit Armenia in the near future. He announced this before the meeting of the EU Foreign Council on Monday.
"Greece welcomes the ongoing peace process in the South Caucasus. Thanks to the efforts of the Hellenic state, Armenia has been invited to the [EU] Foreign Council today to present [its] positions aimed at sustainable peace in the broader region. I personally had a long conversation with the minister of foreign affairs of Armenia, and plan to visit Armenia in the near future. And today I will have the opportunity to see the ministers of foreign affairs of both countries—both Armenia and Azerbaijan," said the Greek FM.
He stressed that they have come to the EU Foreign Council with a weighty and important agenda.
