The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Constantinos Kombos, met with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on the framework of the EU Foreign Ministers' Council meeting.

"I am pleased to meet with the Armenian Foreign Minister. Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity are non-negotiable and must be respected. Cyprus welcomes the joint statement by Armenia and Azerbaijan on the exchange of prisoners of war, work to normalize bilateral relations and strengthen confidence-building measures. We express our support for the efforts aimed at a viable and stable peace in the South Caucasus," Foreign Minister Constantinos Combos wrote in his microblog X.
