One of the Western leaders has repeatedly sent signals that it is necessary to start negotiations regarding Ukraine and European poverty. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reported during a press conference following a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart, “Moskovskiy Komsomolets” reports.

At the same time, he emphasized that he "had no right to name names."

According to him, one of the very well-known leaders of a Western country sent signals several times through different channels, three at least, that it would be possible to meet and discuss the Ukrainian conflict and European poverty.

Lavrov noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry has been observing such "tricks" and the need to start negotiations regarding Ukraine for the past six months.
