Ford Motor has updated its "crazy" Ford F150 Raptor and returned its laurels as the world's most powerful pickup truck, reports Drom.ru.

The 5.2-liter V8 of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 supercar, equipped with the Ford F150 Raptor R, now has a maximum power of 720 hp; previously it was 700 hp. The performance of its engine is increased thanks to the improved throughput of the air supply system.

The maximum torque has not changed—868 Nm, but the manufacturer claims that the maximum range of torques has become wider.

Externally, the updated Ford F150 Raptor R, along with the entire “family,” has new head optics with slightly modified DRLs and a larger radiator grille. And for the first time, it began to be equipped with a projection screen, which has instrument and navigation readings.
