Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has resigned. Garibashvili announced this at Monday’s press briefing held at the government administration.

"I want to inform the public about the decision we have discussed with the [political] team. Today I am leaving the post of Prime Minister," Irakli Garibashvili said, writes Georgia Online.

According to reports, Garibashvili will be replaced as Prime Minister by the chairman of the ruling party of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
