On the sidelines of his official visit to Armenia, Minister of National Defense of Greece, Nikolaos "Nikos" Dendias on Monday held a private discussion with the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, which was followed by a meeting with the participation of extended delegations.

The meeting included discussions on the current state of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the defense sector, progress made on agreements reached during the December 2023 negotiations in Athens, and the identification of new domains for cooperation, Armenia has learned from the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

An agreement was reached to enhance technico-military cooperation following the ratification of the agreement on technico-military cooperation between the governments of the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views also on regional security issues.
