In January-September last year, foreign direct investments in Armenia amounted to about $360 million. Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan stated during the discussions of the report on the progress and results of the 2023 implementation of the 2021-2026 program of the government at the meeting of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration of the National Assembly of Armenia on Monday

"In the months of January-September 2023, the amount of net flows of foreign investments in the real sector of Armenia's economy was about $278 million. During the same period, foreign direct investments were about $360 million, of which the amount of net flows of foreign direct investments from the [other] EAEU [(Eurasian Economic Union)] [member] countries was about $58 million," Papoyan said.

In 2022, the net flows of foreign investments in the real sector of Armenia's economy amounted to $451.5 million. And the net flows of foreign investments by the other EAEU countries—mainly from Russia—amounted to about $364 million,.

In the same period, foreign direct investments in Armenia amounted to $417 million, of which the net flows of foreign direct investments by the other EAEU countries amounted to $250 million.
