At least nine Iranian missiles bypassed Israeli air defenses and hit two Israeli air bases in the Iranian attack, but no significant damage was reported, a senior US official told ABC News.

The official said five ballistic missiles struck Nevatim air base, damaging a C-130 transport aircraft, an unused runway and empty warehouses. Another four ballistic missiles struck the Negev airbase, but no significant damage was reported.
