The Houthis of the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah have already attacked a total of 102 ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea. This was announced by the leader of the movement, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, whose speech was broadcast by the Houthi-owned Al Masirah TV channel.

"The number of attacked vessels reached 102," al-Husi emphasized. On average, he said, Ansar Allah strikes "one ship every two days."

Following the escalation of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, Ansar Allah warned that it would bombard Israeli territory and prevent ships affiliated with it from passing through the waters of the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

In response to Ansar Allah's actions, US authorities announced the formation of an international coalition and the launch of Operation Prosperity Guardian to ensure freedom of navigation and ship security in the Red Sea. Subsequently, the armed forces of the United Kingdom and the United States began to regularly strike rebel military facilities in various provinces of Yemen.
