Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, who is on an official visit to Hungary, met with Hungarian President of Tamas Sulyok, the NA informs.

During the meeting, the interlocutors reflected on the current process of the Armenia-Hungary relations and the steps necessary to be taken for improving them.

Besides the discussions regarding the bilateral relations, the Armenian parliament speaker and the Hungarian president touched upon the prospects for signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as some other matters of regional interest.

In addition, Simonyan briefed Sulyok on the Crossroads of Peace project launched by the Armenian government.
