Arusyak Julhakyan, a member of the ruling majority faction of the Armenian parliament, has been elected Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
“The PACE recently approved my candidacy for the position of vice president of the assembly. I am grateful to the RA [i.e. the Republic of Armenia] delegation to PACE for nominating my candidacy [in that capacity],” Julhakyan wrote on social media.
