Permanent representatives of Armenia and Tuvalu to UN Garen Nazarian and Falema Pita signed a joint declaration on Friday to establish diplomatic relations between the countries.

The signing ceremony was followed by the meeting of the representatives of two states during which they discussed  the issues on development of bilateral relations and promotion of bilateral cooperation within the UN and other international agencies.

Tuvalu is a Polynesian island nation located in the Pacific Ocean and comprising nine islands between Australia and Hawaii.
