Armenians were elected to the parliament of France, as a result of Sunday’s second round of National Assembly elections in the country.

Guillaume Kasbarian, who represents President Emmanuel Macron’s Republic on the Move (La République En Marche (La REM)) party, achieved victory at the first district of the Eure-et-Loir department, reported 20 minutes.

He received 55 percent of the votes.

As reported earlier, another French Armenian, Danièle Cazarian, also won in the second round of the parliament election.
