YEREVAN. – A festive reception, dedicated to 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and China, was held Friday at the Government of China, MFA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Remarks were delivered by Vice Chairperson Jiang Shusheng of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress—that is, the Chinese parliament—and Armenia’s Ambassador to China, Armen Sargsyan. 

In his speech, Shusheng conveyed his congratulations and best wishes to Armenia’s leadership and people.

In his turn, Ambassador Sargsyan specifically noted that the two countries carried out tremendous joint activities, in the past twenty years, and as a result a serious success was recorded in the cooperation.  

Also, China’s Vice FM Cheng Guoping presented to the Armenian side the collection of the documents that were signed and the photo album of the high level mutual visits and memorable events that took place between the two countries in the last twenty years.
