YEREVAN. – An Armenian delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Armen Poghosyan, is also partaking in the 28th Regional Conference of UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), which started on Tuesday in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku.

Armenia’s delegation safely arrived in Baku, and there is no tension by the Azerbaijanis, the Agriculture Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ilham Guliyev stated that their country’s respective agencies will ensure the security of the Armenian delegation. 

The Conference will come to a close on Friday.

Armenia is a FAO member since 1993.
