YEREVAN. – Armenia will celebrate the International Workers' Day, May 1st, along with other states.

At the first period of the independence in Armenia under the rule of Levon Ter-Petrosyan the celebration has ceased, while it is an official day off currently.

This year the celebration coincided with the parliamentary election period. And some parties decided to celebrate it festive events.
