Many ridiculous incidents were registered during the parliamentary elections in Armenia on Sunday.

Photos of ballots including names of other people were posted on the internet. According to the Armenian voters, Chuck Norris is on first place followed by Catherine. The first is a famous Hollywood actor whose face is often seen on Facebook, the second is a famous character of Armenian Vitamin Club, who plays ’a dumb model’.

On another ballot the voter added his girlfriend’s name as a parliament member candidate.

To note, the ballots did not have ‘Against all’ option and some voters, who were against all, decided to vote in this way.

Eight political parties and one block participated in the parliament elections in Armenia: Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, Armenian National Congress, Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party. For entering a 131-seat National Assembly (Parliament), parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
