YEREVAN. – Head of the People’s Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchyan has no decision on rejecting the MP mandate, he told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“It is better to touch upon it after the election final results will be available. In addition, neither me nor the Armenian National Congress (ANC) have any decision on rejecting the mandates,” he said.

To note, the ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan stated in the Tuesday rally that he will reject the mandate, thus giving the former PM Hrant Bagratyan [No. 8] an opportunity to appear in the new parliament.

According to another rumors, Aram Sargsyan intends to reject it as well, hence former military prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan [No. 9] may claim to be an MP.

Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission has issued the preliminary results of parliamentary elections.
