YEREVAN.- Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) headed by businessman Gagik Tsarukyan received the greatest support in Kotayk Region during the May 6 election. It is the only region where PAP managed to leave behind the winner – Republican Party.

Armenian News-NEWS.am presents the Prosperous Armenia’s results according to the regions in descending order (the percentage was calculated from 100% of the votes cast for political parties and blocs taking part in the parliamentary elections of May 6).

Kotayk Region - 47.49%
Shirak Region - 34.54%
Gegharkunik Region - 33.58%
Aragatsotn Region - 32.49%
Vayots Dzor Region - 31.86%
Ararat Region - 29.89%
Yerevan - 27.14%
Tavush Region - 26.9%
Armavir Region - 25.55%
Lori Region - 24.27%
Syunik Region - 22.43%

The final results issued on Sunday showed the Prosperous Armenia Party polled 30.12% of votes (454,673).
