A fire had started for yet unknown reasons at a four-storey building located nearby Surp Asdvadzadzin (Holy Mother of God) Armenian Catholic Church at Istanbul’s Beyoglu District.  

The fire, which started in the building on Tuesday morning, began spreading onto a section of the wall of the Armenian church, but the firefighters were able to contain the flames, Haberler news agency of Turkey informs.
