Armenia’s President sends message of condolence to Italian counterpart

YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of sympathy to Italy’s President, Giorgio Napolitano, in connection with the explosion outside the Morvillo-Falcone Professional Institute in Brindisi, and the earthquake that hit northern Italy. 

“I express a sincere sorrow to friendly Italy over the loss of innocent human lives, numerous injured, and the devastation.    

I am confident that Italy will surmount this cruel ordeal in dignity. Our hearts, minds and spirits are with you at this difficult time for the people of Italy,” the President’s message of condolence reads.
