Closed door UN Security Council meeting discusses situation in Syria

The closed door meeting of UN Security Council about the situation in Syria is over in New York. Special Envoy of the United Nations Kofi Annan said that his plan for the peaceful settlement is not fully implemented.

The methods to stop bloodshed in Syria were proposed at the UN General Assembly.

Secretary General of the Arab League called for military intervention according to the Article 7 of the UN Charter. Russia has expressed doubts about the efficiency of such policy, Vesti.Ru reports.
