Armenian police calls for pedestrians to follow rules

17:28, 11.06.2012 Region: Armenia Theme: Society, Incidents

YEREVAN. – The Armenian Police called for the pedestrians to follow the rules while crossing streets. The statement of the Police’s press service states that pedestrians are responsible for security on streets along with drivers.

“Unfortunately some of our citizens do not understand that and by violating rules while crossing streets they endanger not only their but also the lives of others,” the statement reads.

The Police stresses that not all are able to adhere to the rules, not all follow the logic, as evidenced by the fact that much of the crashes involving pedestrians occur because of lack of discipline of the latter.
