YEREVAN. – Armenia’s newly appointed Healthcare Minister Derenik Dumanyan is not going to make serious staff changes, he told Armenian News-NEWS.am adding he is against numerous staff changes.

“There are professionals, civil employees, who have been working for many years,” he said adding at the same time there may be people who will not be in their proper offices, which will require correction of situation.

He will be presented to the Ministry on June 18. To note, media outlets claimed that he would be appointed a Minister, however, Dumanyan rejected rumors to the agency on June 2.

Dumanyan was preceded by Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) member Harutyun Kushkyan. However, following the parliamentary elections, the PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan rejected to join ruling coalition.
