In Armenia’s Vanadzor 1,300 homeless dogs shot

VANADZOR. – Elimination of homeless dogs is implemented through shooting in night hours. Over 1,300 dogs have already been eliminated since the beginning of the year in Armenian City of Vanadzor.

The issue is in the focus of the Mayor Samvel Darbinyan. Over AMD 4 million has been allocated for eliminating homeless dogs, Vanadzor city hall employee Lyova Melikyan told Armenian Vanadzor correspondent adding cases of attacks on people have also been recorded. 25 cases of biting have so far been registered, Armenian Ministry of Healthcare employee Karine Mirzoyan said.
