In Brussels, Armenian President meets with EPP President

YEREVAN. – While in Brussels, Armenia’s President and ruling Republican Party (RPA) leader Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday met with European People’s Party (EPP) President Wilfried Martens. 

The interlocutors discussed the extending of EPP-RPA cooperation, Armenia-EU ties, conducting comprehensive reforms in Armenia, the latter’s domestic political situation, the steps being taken toward strengthening democracy in the country, and regional developments and challenges, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.      

They also underscored the need for RPA MPs becoming members in EPP factions within interparliamentary bodies.
