A hundred-year old Rolls-Royce was sold for record-breaking £4.7 million (5.8 million euro) in Western Sussex, UK.

It is the most expensive Rolls-Royce ever sold at auction. Premium class Silver Ghost was produced in the UK from 1907 to 1926.

Back in 1912 the car cost about 93,000 modern pounds (115, 000 euro).  The car has an early speedometer which was not typical for 1912. Interior fittings of the vehicle are made of silver and ivory, while the door panels are embroidered silk, the Daily Mail reports.
