Azerbaijani man angers citizens of Istanbul

ISTANBUL. - An Azerbaijani man angered the passersby in Istanbul’s Taksim square.

As the Turkish Hurriyet reports, Mamad Mamudi, a citizen of Iran, appeared completely naked on the Republic monument and shouted insults. People who had gathered around the monument threw things at him and demanded that he should come down.

Some citizens even tried to go up and beat him but police officers brought Mamad down and took him to the police station. Later it was found out that Mamudi was under the influence of  drugs.
