Explosion occurs in Armenian district in Tbilisi

TBILISI. – A self-made grenade exploded in a subway station in downtown Tbilisi, there are no deaths reported. To note, the explosion occurred in Avlabari district with the majority of Armenian Community.

The explosion occurred at 2.00 a.m. The glasses of nearby shops broke as a result of the explosion in the subway station. A criminal case has been launched on the explosion, investigation is underway, Georgia Online reports.

The interior Ministry of Georgia has not made any official statements yet.
