YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police publicized details on the incident that occurred at capital city Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport.  

The Police’s Zvartnots Airport Division received information from the Airport’s Aviation Safety Station, on Tuesday at 6:45am, to the effect that there is a disorderly passenger in the Tehran-Yerevan-London transit flight, and that the cabin crew requires police officers, the Police press service informs.    

The operative team, which was dispatched to the scene, detained Iranian citizen Ali S., 39, from the Airport’s Aviation Safety Zone.   

And after being searched, a 1.02-gram opium-like substance was found in this person’s wallet. 

The substance is sent for an examination, and an investigation is launched.
