PARIS. – French-Armenians held a protest action in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Paris on Tuesday against pardoning Azeri murderer Ramil Safarov, who killed Armenian lieutenant Guren Margaryan in 2004 in Budapest and was extradited to Baku on Aug. 31, and Azerbaijani policy run against Armenia and Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh], head of the Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) office in France Hrachya Varzhapetian told Armenian News-NEWS.am

According to him, over 2,000 people along with French MPs participate in the protest. The protest is held in a quite active atmosphere, however, no cases of burning the Azerbaijani flag or Ramil Safarov portrait took place.

As for the action launched simultaneously in front of the Armenian Embassy by the Azerbaijanis, Vrazhapetian said that hardly 150 people participated in it. It is also funny that the Azeri participants hold not only Azerbaijani but also Turkish flags. In addition, their compatriots expected to arrive from the Netherlands did not join them.
