YEREVAN. – World famous pianist Evgeny Kissin will perform in the "Prospects of XXI" international music festival in Yerevan on Sept. 27, the festival manager Sona Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Tickets cost AMD 3,000 - AMD 25,000, however, almost no tickets are left, she added.

It took 8 years to the president of the festival and composer Stepan Rostomyan to invite Kissin to Yerevan.

He is the most famous and demanded pianist in the world and he performs in the major concert halls with the major choirs in European counties. In order to include Armenia in that list, talks for years were required. In addition, that will allow the festival to grown its prestige and attract famous people’s attention.
