Seven skeletons buried alongside one another were found during construction of a new city hall building in Turkey’s southeastern Hakkari Province. 

Samples from the skeletons were sent to Istanbul’s and Ankara’s forensic medical examination centers, Radikal daily of Turkey reports.

In its turn, the Hakkari Police announced that, according to the form in which the discovered skeletons were buried, they belong to Armenians and the City Hall will rebury them somewhere else.   

Also, Hakkari Bar Association President Kutbettin Bayazit confirmed that Armenian skeletons were unearthed during construction.
