YEREVAN. – Following its sharp decline on Monday, against the Armenian dram (AMD), the US dollar partially recovered in Armenia’s financial market.  

Even though NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange saw no trading on Tuesday, the dollar’s exchange rate seems to be rising. Its asking price was AMD 406.25/$1, but this was not met.   

To note, the dollar’s average exchange rate at the stock exchange was AMD 405.75/$1 on Monday. 

In Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, the dollar’s buying rate is raised all the way to AMD 406/$1, at some exchange offices, and it is primarily sold at AMD 408/$1.
