Armenia’s Ambassador to Bulgaria, Arsen Shoyan, on Monday was hosted at the Bulgarian National Assembly (NA), where he was received by NA Chairwoman Tsetska Tsacheva Dangovska.

They reflected on the Armenian-Bulgarian friendly ties, the cooperation between the parliaments of both countries, and the interaction in other domains.

Armenia’s ambassador briefed the Bulgarian parliament head on the latest developments with respect to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as well as the situation created as a result of the release of the Azerbaijani army officer Ramil Safarov, who had axed to death Armenian soldier Gurgen Margaryan in Budapest.

Also, the interlocutors underscored the Bulgarian-Armenian community’s role in Bulgaria’s development and in strengthening Armenian-Bulgarian relations.
