YEREVAN.- There is no competition between U.S. and Russia in the region, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern said.

Talking to reporters during a seminar held within a NATO week in Yerevan, Heffern said U.S. and Russia are closely cooperating within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.

“All the CTSO members, Russia included, are also partners of NATO. The cold war is over. Armenia has special relationship with Russia and CSTO and there is also important partnership with NATO,” he emphasized.
