YEREVAN. – The Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian received on Monday the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai.

The FM positively stressed the Armenia-NATO cooperation results and emphasized the importance of holding the NATO week annually in Armenia.

During the meeting the interlocutors touched upon number of issues on Armenia and NATO mutual cooperation, in particular, cooperation within Partnership for Peace (PfP), Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC), and Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) programs.

Nalbandian also presented the recent developments of the Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] peace process, while the NATO representative stressed the organization’s commitment and support to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ efforts.
