YEREVAN. – The First Instance Court of Armenia’s Syunik approved the lawsuit by the Office of Attorney General to compensate the state budget with AMD 186,155,400 ($450,000) from the Syunik auction company director F. Kirakosyan.

The court sentenced Kirakosyan to imprisonment according to the Article 204: Abuse of securities emission, Attorney General’s Office press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

However, he was released due to the 2009 amnesty, cast by the Armenian President. At the same time, taking into account that the damage was not compensated in any way, the Attorney General filed a new lawsuit to recover the damage. Hence, the court approved his demand and state budget will receive that amount.
