On the segment of Aragvispiri-Kobi (20th-106-km) of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars road (Georgian military road) due to snow and icy conditions the traffic of cars with trailers and semi-trailers, large buses (for over than 30 people) is prohibited as of Wednesday, the Georgian department of highways reported.

For the other types of cars on the segment of Aragvispiri-Gudauri (20th-93rd km) traffic is free and on segment Gudauri-Kobi (93rd-106-km) traffic is allowed with anti-skid chains, Novosti-Gruziya informs.

The traffic of vehicles with two or more drive axles are allowed without restrictions.

 On the segment of Gudauri-Kobi the traffic goes through tunnels to protect against avalanches. At the same time on that section it is prohibited to stop the vehicles. The situation on the ground is directly controlled by the patrol police.

There are no more restrictions on the other roads of Georgia.
