Public hearings on “Opening of the railway via Abkhazia: for and against” were held in Tbilisi.

Head of non-profit organization “Caucasian Cooperation”, political editor of “Expert” journal, senior fellow at the Center for Caucasian Studies, the editor of the analytical portal "Russia-Georgia: expert dialogue”(georgiamonitor.org) Nikolai Silayev was speaking for the initiative, Novosti Gruziya reported. 

The director of the Association of reforms in Georgia, former Deputy Foreign Minister Sergi Kapanadze was speaking “against”. The moderator of the meeting was the director of “Caucasian House” Georgi Kanashvili.
