YEREVAN. – A delegation headed by Lieutenant General Alexander Studenikin, Chief of Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) arrived in Armenia on Thursday.

This is Studenikin’s first visit to Armenia after his appointment to the post of Chief of CSTO Joint Staff.

On Friday Lieutenant General held meetings with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Deputy Minister Davit Tonoyan and Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov.  The sides discussed the ongoing reforms to improve effectiveness of the work of CSTO military committee and CSTO joint staff, as well as issues related to interaction between CSTO member states.
