YEREVAN. – At the invitation of Guram Odisharia, the Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan headed to Georgia on Wednesday to discuss the avenues for developing Armenian-Georgian cultural cooperation.  

The parties are expected to examine the protection of the historical and cultural heritage that is located in both countries, to clarify the 2013 cooperation programs, and to discuss Georgian intellectuals’’ and cultural figures’ possible attendance to the “Gyumri: 2013 Cultural Capital of Cooperation” program, and holding joint events within the framework of the “110th Anniversary of Aram Khachaturian” program, Armenian Culture Ministry press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
