YEREVAN. – A road accident occurred near the Armenian-Turkish border on Monday. As a result, two Turkish military servicemen lost their lives on the same day, and two more died on Tuesday.
A truck crashed into a military patrol minibus on Monday and, as a result, seven soldiers sustained injuries, Dogan News Agency of Turkey reports.
The incident occurred in close proximity to the Dilucu border checkpoint in Turkey’s Igdir Province, which borders Armenia.
The truck driver was detained, and two of the injured died several hours after the accident.
